Object Name Holder, Surgical Needle
Description The instrument has a single wooden handle and two metal shafts, ending in a pivoting head. The head clamp is two pieces of metal with an internal pivot. The clamp head has cross hatching on one of the jaws. From the head, the handle shaft flattens to to be connected to the handle, and the other shaft has a ridged thumb pad to operate the jaws. The handle shaft has a spring connected with a screw and a pivot U that can lock the shafts by setting into a series of notches on the opposite shaft.
